The New York Times has a wonderful piece (subscription required) on the creative development process for Usher’s commencement speech at Emory University.

It not only provides a fantastic insight into how the speech evolved, but showcases Usher’s craft and attention to detail as he works with his team.
As a bonus the article gets a mini New Times Snow Fall treatment which only adds to the storytelling.
